Directory Update is a customizable web-based application that allows a user to update their own attributes and information in the Exchange Global Address List (GAL) and the Active Directory (AD). This self-service directory tool allows administrators control to which fields are visible, which fields can be edited, and the field labels. The administrator can ensure that valid data are entered by providing choices from a drop-down list instead of a text box.
