Synthesis is a multi-discipline design firm of architects, landscape architects, urban planners, interior designers, and graphic designers. Synthesis was founded in Schenectady, New York in 1989. In August 2005, Synthesis Asia (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a sister firm, began operations in Shanghai, China. Synthesis designs for both the public and private sectors usage include public, administration, education, business, retail, industrial, etc. Synthesis has been active in the eastern United States and New England states, including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Synthesis has also been engaged in projects in the People s Republic of China. We believe there is a place for innovative design in every project. While we are always conscious of needs, resources, and requirements, they do not have to impede innovation. In fact, they are often the catalysts for creativity.
