Dr. Aziz Ahmad received his medical degree from Khyber Medical College, Pakistan, the worlds historically famous Khyber Pass in 1969. He had three years postgraduate training in general surgery and trauma at the same university. Dr. Aziz Ahmad received his residency training at the University of Buffalo, New York in general surgery, and then had Fellowship training in colorectal surgery at the same institution. He was certified by the American Board of Surgery in 1980, and he received his board certification in colorectal surgery in 1983. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been in practice in Panama City for the last 22 years. He is a member of the Florida Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons. He has pioneered laparoscopic surgery in Bay County with extensive training, interest, and experience. He has been chief of surgery at Gulf Coast Hospital and has chaired other important committees for several years.
