Do you own or have an out-of-sight Afro-Wing hiding in the closet? How about a pair of Elvis Presley 70s Mirrored Sun Glasses and Polyester anything? Are you up for setting a New World Record? Then join us for this fantastic, funny, and ultimately hilarious event. Bring your good humor and all your friends. Slip into something from the 60s, 70s or 80s or not, and put on that Afro-Wig you know you have been wanting to wear. If you don t have one, there are plenty of places online where you can find one. You can also purchase a wig from either Retro Paradise or Cognitos Clothing both located on Pacific Ave in Santa Cruz just a block from where the photo shoot will be held. Oh yes, kids are welcome, preferably with Afros. For those who would like to truly enjoy the day, there are at least four really swank lounges/bars on Pacific Avenue where we plan to hang out. They will be playing music from the period to set the mood for the photo shoot. Motiv Bar El Palomar Cloud s Down Town FUN RAISER We are asking for donations but they are not required to attend. The funds will go towards helping a single mother or father in Santa Cruz from being foreclosed upon. Every little bit helps. INSPIRATION: Our directives come from the new man in town, Barack. He has asked each of us to do what we could to help each other. So, with the event already in the planning stages we thought we would do our part to facilitate his wishes.
