This site is dedicated to the amazing Barack Obama whose catchy slogan, YES WE CAN!, helped me through a very tricky time of my life. It carries every article I have ever written on him, or related comment, for posterity from a British perspective. I began writing about him in February 2007. By the time he was elected president, I had written over 100 articles on Newsvine. In an odd way they show his awesome progress over the long campaign and the main issues/ problems of each stage. Above all, they show my unwavering faith that he would win, from day one, regardless of the obstacles he faced.
